…on our 94th month anniversary! so grateful to her for suggesting it and encouraging me to commit to it (i’ve intense commitment phobia). we had fun learning a lot, and i really cherish having creative experiences together. my poster contains a haiku i’ve written on the 2nd of sept 2017: “love is the only / redemption in the heavy / weight of existence” β€” i thought it was pretty apt to lay it out on my poster today, because in recent times i have been finding it difficult to endure the heavy weight of my own existence. but her presence, love, tenderness, witnessing and grace makes such a difference. without her i am not sure if i can keep going. yet she keeps reminding me of the person I am, of all that i have brought to her life, that i mean something, at least to her. i keep putting one foot ahead of the other, because she is there holding my hand. i don’t know what the future holds, but right now, there is love.
