it used to surprise me to realise I’ve changed, but somehow that’s because we hold the conditioning that our personalities are fixed and difficult to change — like the leopard never changes its spots — the reality is we are constantly transforming, and the way to quicken that transformation is to interact more with the world, as we come into contact with more stimuli, the more we are inevitably shaped, because that’s how our brain works: our neurons and cells are constantly reorganising themselves according to the stimuli they receive.
